Lake Oswego Farmers Market Draws Crowds to Millennium Plaza Park This Summer

The Lake Oswego Farmers Market has settled into its summer rhythm at Millennium Plaza Park, 200 1st St., where it runs Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through October 31 (with no market on the Fourth of July weekend). With more than 80 vendors setting up each week, it's one of the larger markets in Clackamas County.

Shoppers will find fresh produce, meats, seafood, cheeses, and artisan breads alongside the usual mix of prepared foods and specialty goods. Live music runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. most Saturdays, and the market's Farm Fresh Kids Program gives younger visitors a hands-on introduction to where their food comes from.

Late summer tends to bring the widest selection of the year, with tomatoes, stone fruit, and corn at their peak alongside the first squash and apples signaling the shift toward fall. The market's downtown-adjacent location near the lake makes it an easy pairing with a walk along the waterfront before or after shopping.
